These cabins are like tents that you don't have to carry with you on this fantastic winter trail system.

Another great spring trip at the White Mountains. It wa sunny, and there were beautiful northern lights.
It was -41° (below zero) at night though, so we were glad we were prepared!

This cabin is at times slightly harder to get into due to snow drifts. Come prepared. This cabin has good large pans for cooking. The lower double bunk is narrower than other at all the other cabins, so you want to like each other when you share the bunk. The saw is getting dull, so make sure you have your own.

We love this cabin on the bluff with its vast view. If you’re biking or skiing ... your last mile will be uphill.

This is the closest cabin, so that makes for easy access. However, maybe due to cabin being used by many skiers and bikers (who have a harder time hauling and gathering firewood) there may be very little firewood when you get there. We found none, which is not how a cabin should be left. In addition, there is very little firewood near the cabin, so without a snow machine you may be out of luck. Bring a few pieces if you can, or cut some dead standing trees when you are getting closer to the cabin and see some...
