It took 10 hours to get to the cabin ,via the white mountain trail. There was no firewood and the wood stove needs rope to seal the door for more even heat. Otherwise the country is beautiful and enjoy being there.

Fantastic cabin, stayed warm extremely long, even in cold weather. We were up looking for Caribou in the Forty-Mile White Mountains herd. Although we were unsuccessful, the cabin made the trip much more enjoyable. There was a propane stove, lantern, pots, and a woodstove. It was tidy and delightful! What's more, it snowed the first day of our three night stay, and a plow truck had cleared the access all the way to the cabin by the second day!
