The campsites are nice and distributed with easy access to the Blue Ice Trail. Byron Glacier is an easy must do trail.

Beautiful campground. Nice big sites, clean bathrooms (only pit but still clean), and lots of distance between campsites. We did not have any cell service in the campground but that wasn't an issue for us. No salmon at the time we were there but the salmon viewing area was just a short distance from our camp site.

One of the best campgrounds I have ever stayed at..and I have stayed at quite a few.
Private, peaceful, beautiful.

What a beautiful campground! The mountains, glaciers, and woods surrounding the campsite are stunning. Each campsite is far enough from others and isolated by trees to be quiet. There are bathrooms scattered around the campgrounds so that you're never too far away from one. In the right season, you can also watch the salmon run here (we were a bit early in mid-July). We loved our stay!

Beautiful location with hiking trails that lead you along the creek and river beds. Great views of the mountains and glaciers. Convenient location to Portage Glacier, Whittier and Girdwood.

It’s a beautiful campground with very private lots. There are nice trails along the river and a beautiful view of the glacier. My only complaint is it rained the entire stay and we didn’t get a chance to use the site like we would have liked. I love that the campground host put labels on the reserved sites, making it easy to find our spot when arriving.
