It is generally available year-round and makes an excellent base for experiencing this corner of Alaska, offering recreational options and abundant wildlife. The cabin is remote. What Guests Are Saying

The Eight Fathom Cabin offers a great location with beautiful views and easy offloading for gear. Guests appreciated the cabin's spacious layout and the availability of some firewood. However, challenges include limited road maintenance, which affected access to the cabin and hot tubs, as well as an overgrown trail from the dock.
