The campground is well-maintained, with spacious sites, clean bathrooms, and excellent amenities, including free showers and bear-proof storage boxes. We came to Juneau to see our family. Stayed 12 days camping at Mendenhall Glacier Campground. We reserved 2 sites both were very unique , quiet , and private. Park is very wooded and has great view of Glacier from campsite along the lake . I sat on the shore from campsite #9 watching a beaver swim by while gazing at the glacier. Perfect place to relax and reflect . Park hosts were helpful with our few issues and local law enforcement made regular casual patrols through out our stay. No signs of bears and grounds were free of trash. Bathrooms were basic and clean. A great place to relax, sleep , launch paddle boards/kayak, walk interior trails, and use as base camp for West Glacier trail.

Wonderful post-Memorial Day experience. Warm sun, cool breezes off the glacier, and only a handful of campsites occupied. Very quiet and restful.

Close to Mendenhall Glacier and related trails. It was very rainy during our stay. To the point the camp host came by to warn us of the deluge coming and possible flooding Nice lady, but the weather definitely was a downer for our stay.
Shower room had 2 stalls, but only one had hot water. Very cold in the large open room and not much place near shower to hang clothes, towel and set wash products.

Beautiful quiet campground. Spaces were spread apart. Views of the lake and glacier were awesome. Very clean showers and toilets. No extra fee for dump. Highly recommend!
