It was very clean and cozy!
The trail to wasnt too bad. Had to do a lot of the packing down ourselves after all the snow we got. But once we were there it was beautiful. You do need to bring your own TP

My first time staying in the cabin and it was very clean! The outhouse was also in great condition. Plus you don't have to bring in your own fuel and the heater works, big plus. Beautiful views!

Beautiful place! Hike not to bad at all, you may run into lots of other people enjoying cabin area but everyone who had hiked up for the day left the cabin and deck area to our group.

Great hike in (a little icy on the trail but it was April!). Incredible wildlife (ducks, geese, and beavers). The cabin and amenities were excellent. Can’t wait to spend more time there. Very peaceful.

Recommend staying more than 1 night. Allow extra time when large snow fall. Took us 6 hours to snowshoe in as we had to navigate trail with ap and had lots of post holing. Only took 3 hours to snowshoe out with colder temps and trail established.

Our stay at Windfall was beautiful. The visitors before us had left it in great condition, and it was so nice after hiking through the cold to have a warm, clean space to relax in.
