Policies & Rules
Safety
- Drugs and Alcohol are prohibited throughout Kepler Park property and in Kepler Park boats. Violators will be asked to leave and possibly banned.

- Burning of pallets is strictly prohibited. Any wood to be burned must fit within designated fire ring
- Please do not leave cans, bottles or other garbage in fire pits
Deposit
- We charge a minimum of one hour for rented boats.
- We allow the last boat rental to go out at 5:30 p.m. All boats must be returned no later than 6:30 p.m. Charges will apply.
- Late checkout may be possible if your site is not already booked for that afternoon. A $15 fee will apply
- Peeling bark and chopping live trees is prohibited. A $500 fine will be charged for doing so.
- Fireworks and discharge of firearms is prohibited
- Kepler Park is a privately owned and operated, family oriented campground, with fees for the use of private land.
Pets
- Dogs are not allowed in rented boats (only legitimate service dogs are allowed on boats)
- There is a $5 dog fee/dog/night and dogs must be secured at all times whether on leash, rope or kennel. Dogs must be kept quiet and we ask that you please clean up after them.
- Please let wildlife be wild. Do not feed or pester ducks and other animals at Kepler Park

General
- Life jackets are required. Anyone under 18 must wear them at all times. Please make an attempt to keep life jackets off of the bottom of the boats. Do not stand on, or lay fish on the life jackets.
- Standing in or swimming from boats is prohibited. Do not leave the boat unattended or “swap” boats with friends and family.
- Docking is only permitted at our designated boat launch. Docking boats anywhere else along the shore is prohibited and subject to losing your rental without reimbursement.
- Passage under the bridge in a rented boat is currently unsafe and therefore, prohibited.
- There is no lifeguard on duty at Kepler Park
- Person operating a rented boat must be 18 or older
- Gas motors are not allowed on Kepler or Bradley Lake, per the State of Alaska
- Kepler Park is not equipped for full hookups.
- Camping is limited to a maximum of 6 nights.
- You must be 18 or older to camp without a guardian
- All children under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian at all times
- Children must be supervised
- Day use is between noon and 6:00 p.m.

Noise
- We ask that we are able to contact you by phone in case any issues arise. Oftentimes weather is a factor. If wind becomes an issue while you are on the lake, please use caution and common sense and allow at least a half an hour to return to boat launch.
- Noise curfew is between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.
Check-out
- Please check Alaska Department of Fish and Game regulations before fishing
- Checkout is 11:00 am. If possible, please call or stop in the office to let us know that you are checking out.
Parking
- Kepler Park grounds, boats, and trails will be treated with care and kept clean
- Up to two vehicles are allowed at campsites. First vehicle is included in the price of the site, the second vehicle is $10. If you have more than two vehicles at your site, the additional vehicles will be asked to check in at the office and must park in general parking for $5.
- No outside visitors/activities after 10:00 pm; unregistered visitors must leave park by 10:00 pm* *please refer to vehicle limit per site, all visitors must check in at office
- Parking restrictions may apply to day use. Please confirm parking arrangements with the Kepler Park office before booking.
Check-in
- Checkin is between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. If you are arriving after 6:00 p.m., please complete a form at the “self-registration” box at the office. We will follow up with you the next morning.
Guests
- Campers will be considerate of others. If an issue arises with another camper, please let a Kepler Park Staff Member know
- Kepler Park has been dedicated to the Lord for His plan and purpose. Use of the park is intended as a place of "Refuge"... a place of solitude, relaxation, and good wholesome fun! We ask that everyone keep this in mind and please be considerate of other visitors at the park.
- If you're looking for a place to party, this is not the place! Drugs, alcohol, anger, and drama are not welcome here. As a visitor to our park, we hope you have a pleasant stay and come back to see us soon!
