Very attentive camp host, makes sure quiet hours are followed and very diligent about cleaning up the camps after departures. Wish they had a discount agreement with the Russian River campground to not pay $11 for every 12 hr. parking to hike / fish.

The campsites were very private, the neighboring campsites were spaced that you actually felt like you were camping. Unlike like many campsites where the next site is literally within arms reach. The setting was in the woods which was nice.

We actually ended up at Cooper Creek North right on the River. We love this campground, it’s FCFS so a little harder to come upon, but at the right time you can find one. Beautiful site, love the sound of the water running past. Camp host came and checked on us as well as two rangers.

The campground host, Scott, was super helpful and kind when we locked our keys in our car, and also when we realized we had booked for one night instead of the two we had planned. The creek is beautiful as are the cottonwoods. The poor spruce trees are dying from the bark beetles and the needles were falling like rain at our second site. The campground was clean and well maintained. It is close to the highway, so traffic noise was noticeable.

The campground managers at Cooper Creek South are the reason we stay there. Julie and John are the best!
