Absolutely pathetic experience. It's obvious this glamping concept is new to them because they seem to have no idea how to manage it properly. There were visible gaps in the roof of our tent, and when we raised concerns, the front desk casually dismissed them and assured us we'd be fine. That turned out to be completely false.
It rained overnight, and water leaked throughout the tent. Instead of sleeping, we spent the entire night with our kids mopping the floor and dumping water out of containers. A "luxury camping" experience turned into a miserable nightmare.
The restrooms were somehow even worse. The doors don't lock properly, meaning anyone can accidentally open them, leaving you with zero privacy. On windy days, both the restroom doors and tent doors fly open on their own. Basic functionality and safety seem to have been overlooked.
To make matters worse, there is no running water. Everything depends on tanks being refilled, and if the staff forgets, you're simply out of luck.
The only redeeming feature was the sauna. Other than that, this was one of the worst accommodations I've ever stayed at. I would never recommend this place to anyone, and certainly not to families with kids. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

I recently stayed at the Howling Wolf Resort in Seward, and it was hands down one of the best highlights of my trip to Alaska! If you want the perfect balance of rugged Alaskan wilderness and luxurious comfort, this is the place to be.

The glamping setup is incredible. The custom-built canvas tents and cottages are beautifully furnished, incredibly cozy, and feature warm wood interiors that make you feel instantly at home. Crawling into a comfortable, warm bed at night while listening to the sounds of nature was pure bliss. Every unit has its own private fire pit with Adirondack chairs, which was perfect for winding down after a long day of exploring.

But what really sets this place apart are the wellness amenities. The outdoor hot tub, shared saunas, and the exhilarating cold plunge tub were the absolute best way to soothe tired muscles after hiking nearby trails. Soaking under the stars with spectacular mountain views all around us is a memory I won't soon forget.

We were concerned about the bathrooms but they turned out to be super clean and well maintained. The rooms were very clean, spacious and we fully utilized the sauna and hot tubs which were also amazing with beautiful views. The location is very convenient and the staff is very helpful and friendly.

I had a wonderful stay at Howling Wolf Resort! The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The property was clean, comfortable, and surrounded by the beautiful scenery of Seward, Alaska.

The peaceful atmosphere made it a perfect place to relax after exploring the area. I truly enjoyed my stay and appreciated the excellent service. I would definitely recommend Howling Wolf Resort to anyone visiting Seward, and I hope to come back someday!

I had an amazing experience at Howling Wolf Resort! The cottages were absolutely beautiful the décor was cozy and stylish, everything was spotless, and the atmosphere was incredibly comfortable. Waking up to the breathtaking views made the stay even more memorable.

The saunas were one of my favorite parts; I truly felt like I was in paradise. The hot tubs were the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. On top of that, the manager was exceptional—kind, welcoming, and always willing to help, which made the experience even better.

If you understand what glamping is all about, this place is truly amazing. It offers the perfect balance of nature, comfort, and adventure. I think some negative reviews come from people who expect a traditional hotel experience instead of appreciating the unique concept of glamping and everything that goes into creating it.

I highly recommend Howling Wolf Resort to open-minded, friendly, and adventurous people who are looking for something different. If you enjoy nature but still want comfort, relaxation, and an unforgettable experience, this is the perfect place to stay. I would absolutely come back!
