Porcupine is one of my favorite campsites on the Kenai Peninsula - in the trees, no road traffic noise, close to trails, and except for a people running generators its quiet.

Loved this! We’ll definitely be back. The views are beautiful and there’s trail access literally from the campsite. I do wish they had bear lockers, but we made do just fine without one. It is such an incredible beautiful place and felt very private and quiet and secluded.

Gorgeous view of Turnigan Arm! It felt very private with the set up. We would definitely stay here again!

Great space, large picnic table, and amazing view from the tent camping area. The picnic area was protected from the winds (thick brush), so having a campfire felt safe. The only con was that the pull in spot didn’t have any shade as there is a small parking lot across from the site (no trees, no shade). Also, it’s next to a trailhead, so it didn’t feel as private. However, the site was very clean and well taken care of. One of my favorite campgrounds in Alaska!

We loved our Site #16. It was just far enough away from the 'cliff' that we didn't have wind, but still had a view of the ocean. We enjoyed our visit with the camp hosts, too. We didn't see a bear (we always do when we're there), but we did experience thunder and hail for about an hour. We intend to return to this campground!
