Location is beautiful with great hiking / biking accessible right from the campsite. Individual sites are big with lots of space, and separation from other sites. Only downside to campground is that it's at the end of the Hope road and very accessible from Anchorage for a day trip. On a sunny weekend you get lots of people making the trip out, and without any control on campground access, everyone seems to use it as a turnaround, or just wants to pass through to see what it is like. They'll drive to the end of the road, follow the one way road around the campground loop, and head back towards Hope. What this means is it feels like there is an endless stream of cars that pass through the campground starting in late morning, and lasting until 8-9pm. We were nervous for kids playing, or trying to ride bikes around the campground. Otherwise, place is awesome.

View out Turnagain Arm was spectacular! The hike towards Gull Rock was awesome as well. Quiet surroundings.

Nice campground that is best for smaller RV's and tents. Be sure to bring leveling blocks along. It's a great campground for kids with bikes and scooters because of the hills.

One of our favorite campgrounds. Every site is gorgeous but the ones on the inlet have the best sun exposure. Decent cell reception. Easy trail access for Gull Rock and Hope Point.

Needs some major brush clearing. Concerning about kids riding around on bikes with low visibility to cars with the amount of turns. Otherwise great location and fun campground.
