This is one of the nicest, most well-kept campgrounds I have ever seen. The individual sites are spacious, and distanced from one another. The boardwalk along the creek is great for salmon viewing, and the lakefront is lovely. Kudos to the manager.

Quartz Creek Campground is simply one of our favorite destinations! Whether you want a big open lakeside site or a heavier wooded creek side. Hard to find openings so start early in the year!

Ok, first things first, the campground is awesome. Well taken care of and has flushing toilets. The host is awesome and keeps things clean on a scheduled basis.
Having said that, the camper that was next to us, ran his generator all night long. He started it up at !2:47 am and ran it through till 10-11 am. Not appreciated and certainly contrary to the posted quiet hours of 10pm - 6pm. In addition, families love this campground and kids are out on the roads from 7am to 12am, dogs are barking consistently through the day with no owner taking charge. It is a loud noisy campground compared to other campgrounds, so please do not go expecting it to be quiet. The boats and planes taking off on Kenai Lake add to it too. This was our 2nd trip to the campground this year. Love the physical environment but too much noise for us.

Just love this campground!! Super stoked the campground host had firewood for purchase and just adored the little wooden birdhouse to deposit payment.
