Loved campground. All campsites are great. Choose creek side or lake side. If want to have access to the lake, camp on west side.

My reservation which I had made many months before and have been looking forward to was giving away by the time I got there. $100 gone. Website failed numerous times on tablet and computer to update my reservation. Alaskans can't just go camping anymore with this system. People are scalping these reservations on Facebook. This is a fraud and I wish there was a better way to camp at some of the favorite spots my family's been going to for over 25 years. I may give up after this. Some small consolation the campground hosts were very very kind.

Don't let the map confuse you: spot 6 is NOT on the lake side. It actually has a trail across from it down to the lagoon, but it sits to the left of the road. It's also super narrow and is probably the trickiest spot in the campground to back into if you have a longer trailer due to the site angle and how narrow the road is in this spot. Regardless, this campground is still our favorite.
