Always difficult to reserve sites adjacent to Kenai Lake, even six months in advance, but other sites with a lake view are nice and level. Especially nice is the dump station.

Worst experience I've ever had at this campground. It started with threats from the campground (manager) 5 minutes in. About keeping our campsite clean of anything a bear would be attracted too. Or she would report us and make sure we got a ticket. She was awful and rude. Also I've been taking my family there for many many years and have never been more disgusted with the state of the bathrooms. We where there for 4 night, 5 days the bathrooms never got cleaned and the garbage never got emptied. Absolutely terrible camp hosts. They need to be fired and replaced with someone who cares and is respectful.

This campground is on the shores of Kenai Lake which is gorgeous. There is not a beach area, but there was a small trail the led to the lovely lake. Not many mosquitos. The campground was quiet the night we stayed.
