What Guests Are Saying
Lake Eva Cabin is a very nice, clean space with excellent fishing opportunities and diverse wildlife sightings, including bears and bald eagles. While there are some maintenance issues, such as an outhouse damage and an oil stove leak, the owner has assured prompt repairs. The cabin's boat is in great condition, and past visitors recommend using Harbor Air for transportation.

The boat is on life support. Cabin in good shape. Had a bear harvest several pinks in the little stream just east of the cabin. Never saw the bear. Thousands of pinks in the lake and inlet and outlet streams. Best fishing for dollies and cut throat was at the “Lagoon” before the tide rushes in.

Very nice cabin. Tree took out the outhouse and oil stove leaks. I have been assured both will be repaired ASAP. Good fishing at inlet, outlet, down along outlet stream, and in the lagoon. Several close encounters with bears, including around cabin, so be prepared. Lots of bald eagles, beavers, deer, river otters, and loons. Boat in very good condition with new oars. Cabin spotless when I arrived and same when I left. My 22nd trip to Tongass cabins, 5th to Lake Eva. Harbor Air is the air taxi to charter. Be sure to rent their outboard, which makes cruising much easier. I will be back.
