Alamo campground is truly spectacular. We got lucky with nice quiet neighbors. The hike near the campground is amazing. The sky is gorgeous. It was pretty when we were there in early April but thankfully brought really warm clothes.

Casmpground was nice and quiet. Day hikers parked other side of gravelled drives. Access to and from rte 85 is dangerous. No signage or third lane for turning. Hard to see oncoming traffic from south when leaving access rd. Was spring break weekend very busy rd with all traffic speeding. No speed enforcement observed.

Lovely spot. Pit toilet was clean and nearly odor-free. There is some military jet activity in the area, which detracts from the quiet.

Organ Pipe is a hidden gem of a park, and Alamo canyon campground let's you experience the park in a quiet, primitive area. Dirt roads were easy to drive, and each of the spots was a comfortable distance from the next. Alamo Canyon Trail was lovely too, and the trailhead starts right in the campground.
