It is a lovely campsite set in a fabulous National Monument. The rangers were friendly and helpful. I was scouting a mid-December backpacking trip and got all of the attention and help I needed (many parts of the backcountry are closed to camping). I'll be back.

It was simply wonderful. Camping among the cacti, the peace and seclusion.

Having all campsites reservation only doesn't work well (or even good) for everyone. Driving through the campground is so much better than trying to pick a spot on a map on a screen. The map on the screen doesn't mention that 1/2 the bathrooms are closed; if you thought you were reasonably close to the restroom, you could be in for a surprise.

Very clean and well maintained campground, one the best we’ve seen. Plus hiking trails right out of the campground. Nice big pads, some with pergolas. Water is available, convenient garbage and can recycling. Very colorful, lush for the desert, nice visitors center.

Traveling to Puerto Peñasco Mexico. The lady that assisted me in making the reservation was very helpful courteous and patient. You’re lucky to have her on the staff. The two rangers at the reception desk were helpful in that they saw my seniors card was about to fall apart and issued me a new card and give me a map and instructions to get to my campsite. Left truck and trailer at the park while riding motorcycles into Mexico. Faculties were exceptionally clean and available 24/7. Campsite was very good size and easily accessible with easy entry/exit. Being a senior with a pass I truly appreciate the seniors discount. I will definitely be making a reservation anytime I’m in the area. Thank you for what you do for America.

Nice campground with warm showers! Note that no fire pits, but instead fires in the grills instead.

Easy to find campsite. Campsite was maintained well. A lot of the restrooms were closed for the season and walking to the nearest open one was a little annoying with the way the campground is laid out. Nice campground for RVs with flat concrete pads but not ideal for tent camping.

Sparsely populated. Quiet. No kiosk personnel. Some of the restroom facilities were closed/locked. Some of the water spigots were active although signs indicated otherwise.
Much signage regarding illegal immigrants and drug trafficking in the area; however, we saw none of this and had no issues.
Campground is located near hiking and loop drive trails.
November is an excellent time to visit this area
