A beautiful campground. Clean, flat, pull through sites with concrete parking spaces surounded by local vegetation. It was evident that the staff had cleaned and raked the site in decorative patterns prior to our arrival. The accessible concrete walking path was a surprise. Hiking trails at the campground are well maintained.

We appreciated the cleanliness of the park & campground facilities- also the numerous different topics discussed at the afternoon & evening venues.

Ajo Canyon drive is great.
Would like to see paper towels in restrooms. Also a place to place a cosmetic bag while taking care of teeth, hair etc would be nice rather than on top of the garbage bin.
We heard the computers in the visitor center have been down for over a month. That being said a friend came who wanted to camp for a few days. Being technologically challenged he doesn’t have a cell phone or computer.
The staff in the office said they couldn’t help him! The campground has many available spots. They couldn’t help?? One ranger’s suggestion was to drive down to the BLM land about 5 miles back out of the park! Really!! That is poor poor poor customer service. Finally a woman stepped up and helped him. He was very appreciative of her and can’t sing his praises for her enough.
I hope you will look into this and see it isn’t a normal handling of the situation. I would hate to see negative comments on the reviews for this lovely park.

Love this campground. Took off 1 star for showers being either scalding hot when solar going strong or cold when no solar. Doesn’t seem to be any in between. Also the water provided at the dump station does not have a fitting that allows you to connect to the sani-flush for your black tank.

Everything was lovely hot water was a bit cold, but I guess it’s due to the season

A favorite winter camp for me. The campground hosts are doing a great job. Restrooms were spotlessly clean every day and the campground quiet and dark.

Nice campground. By far the largest I've ever stayed at, over 200 spaces, but it doesn't feel like it due to all the native vegetation left in place between sites, and it's spread out over a large area. Nice that there are only limited spaces for generators and their hours are very restricted. Very pleasant and helpful camp host. Only downside are the solar showers, even on a sunny day in the winter with temperatures in the 70's, it took until midafternoon for them to be bearable, but still not hot. Overall though a nice place to stay if you like campgrounds. I usually boondock but once in a while it's nice to have unlimited water and flush toilets.
