Loved every piece of being there. Well. The solar showers leave a lot to be desired, in that they are freezing cold or, luke warm at best. Maybe it's shorter days of December. The site, service, visitor center and natural beauty were excellent. I truly enjoyed my stay and wish I had stayed longer. I will return.

We camped at site 169 for 5 nites. It was peaceful, beautiful and satisfying on every level. This is one of our favorite Monuments/campgrounds and will stay here every year!

I wish the shower water could have been a bit warmer, but other than that we had a delightful time!

LOVE this campground and the surrounding area. Sites are level, nice concrete pull throughs with grill and table. Nice bathrooms as well. The park service has nightly talks / presentations at the amphitheaters. overall , wonderful camping experience.

The campground was very well maintained and there was lots of space between campsites.

This is one of the cleanest, well-organized parks I've visited. The restrooms were very clean and well-maintained. The only drawback is that the water is solar heated. If you want to take a morning shower you can expect cold water, But by 4pm the water is warm enough to enjoy.
the park has NO hookups, so a good battery and self-contained electrical system is mandatory for best comfort.
One negative comment about the generator hours - why are the afternoon ours for generators from 3pm to 6pm? That seems ludicrous! Most people would prefer generator hours from 5pm to 8pm in order to get their batteries charged for the evening. Those earlier hours seem ridiculous for folks needing to charge up the batteries for the night!

Nicely situated, surrounded by cacti, super calm, clean, warm showers, everything very well maintained. Frequent free ranger program in the evening while we were there in December. We enjoyed our time a lot. Great that there is a non generator area.

Beautiful Park in the Sonoran desert. Great place to hike but remember this park boarders Mexico and you are advised not to hike alone due to smuggling activity.
Park is a bit remote so plan ahead and bring what you need. It’s a long way to the store!
