Beautiful campground and park! I was surprised by the level pull through sites and concrete pads. It would be nice to have hot showers and electricity available at some sites. I loved the quiet ambiance and adored the landscape. The hiking was superb!

We love this park, the camp hosts are friendly and helpful. If you want to see cactus it is the place to go. It is quite and there are no bad spots. All paved and pull through. Love it❤️

Very Clean, well organized Park and staff. Beautiful scenery all around, go to the border wall and Ajo Mtn. Drive. Rangers, campground hosts and visitor center staff are VERY helpful and knowledgeable. This Park gets a 100% 👍

Really neat remote desert campground with nicely kept sites. Bathrooms are reasonably nice and convenient, with one important caveat: Showers are solar heated only, so must take in heat of the day (for winter, anyway)! Do hikes and attend ranger programs. Loved the different to us environment and experience here. Really dark campground, so better plan to get there in daylight to have an easier time finding your site and way around.

Beautiful scenery. Lots of hiking and ranger led activities. The campground is very nice. Park staff and camp hosts do a great job monitoring the area, maintaining the park's natural beauty and to enjoy the stars at night. Many thanks to them for a clean, safe and peaceful camping experience. The quaint town of Ajo has a clean laundromat and some nice eatieries. The park's visitor center has some unique gifts. Come fully prepared with food. You might not find the brands you are looking for at the grocery store in Ajo which is about 45 min away. Some folks durng their extended stay have mentioned daytrips to el desierto de sonora mexico (35 minutes) and and puerto penasco mexico (1.5 hrs) aka Rocky Point mexico.
