170 is a no-generator site next to the tent-only section that was quiet—except for the cooing of the many quails passing through.
One thing we noticed immediately upon arrival was all the cars with their hoods popped. Turns out there is a packrat problem and lifting the hood prevents them from nesting in your engine.
The campground has drinking water, bathrooms, and showers. It also has a dog-friendly trail around it and another one that goes to the Visitor Center.
The one thing the campground (and the park) does not have is a store that sells ice cream and ice. For both, we drove to the gas station at the border.

Very well run and maintained campsite. The campsite hosts and everyone at the visitors center were very friendly and helpful. Lots of great back country roads and trails to explore.

We absolutely LOVED this campground. Spaces were far enough apart, restrooms were plenty and near by. The solar showers were great, but remember to shower later in the day. The grounds were very well kept and had such a variety of cactus and flowers. We loved all the colorful birds and hearing their songs daily. Quail roamed the campsites all day, and we really enjoyed that. This was such a peaceful experience, We will definitely be back!

All was well with the campground. Being a super senior I didn't explore much because of a little too much wind.

It’s a wonderful, clean, campground with private sites. Very quiet with good birding opportunities nearby. The ranger talks are well done.

The campground was great. Liked having concrete slabs and a no generator area. Accessibility to restrooms was good. We never used the solar shower. Weather wasn’t great for hiking, but enjoyed the scenic drive. Visitor center staff were great. Very helpful

Star Party was excellent and informative. Park astrologers were knowledgeable and made astrology easy to understand. The astrology club was instrumental in making the star party educational and fun.

Great campground with very easy pull through access. Clean restrooms with showers that were solar heated. Worked great in the afternoon but a little cool in the morning

The campground was super clean! The area is stunning.
Cell coverage was only 1 to 2 bars. I had a cell booster and could get 3 to 4 bars and even stream Netflix.
