Too hot, too dry, too brown. I need some green. Facilities were clean and neat. Bathhouse shower water scalding hot. It's solar heated. Fixed temperature. No way to adjust. Warning signs tell of scald potential. Water was way too hot to shower. Also, a little concerned with safety being within eyeball range of the border. There was some nighttime activity that gave me concern. I left two days early.

This place is absolutely beautiful! The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful and wide open. The air feels fresh, and the temperature is just right — not too hot, not too cold.
One of the best things: no bugs at all! That made the stay extra comfortable.

We have been here before but this time the closest bathroom was closed during our stay. I had reserved a handicap close to the bathroom but had to walk further fre next open one.

These were the cleanest, nicest campgrounds I've stayed at within the parks system. Absolutely stunning AND to have all the cactus' nestled within your campsite...incredible!
I slept on the ground, no tent and saw so many stars you could barely make out the constellations. Waking up to a sunrise backlighting cactus' WOW. Did the hike through Bull Pasture to Mt Ajo which is unreal and the hike out to Victoria Mine from the campground. Amazing place and absolutely surreal to see the border towns/farms and wall in the distance.
