I love this campground its clean amenities are basic but water showers and clean restrooms are generously place in the campground. If you have solar than not having electricity won’t be an issue due to the get us amounts of sun. The views are spectacular and I always enjoy this more isolated location when I need some peace and quiet and I’m not looking for a bunch of activities

Nothing you could control. It was incredibly hot and the biting flies were ridiculous. We could not be outside at all so suffered in the heat in the trailer.

We spent 4 nights at the Twin Peaks campground. What an amazing experience. Great hiking, beautiful desert vistas, and night sky's. Very peaceful during the night as well. I would highly recommend it.

Due to the time of year there were only 4 other campers, so it was AWESOME. Good facilities, free showers, quiet and the stars were amazing.

Nice campground. Make sure you take what you need. Closest market is 25 miles.

The campground is very well kept and quite nice but set up a bit confusingly when you first arrive and are trying to look for a spot. Signage could be a little bit more helpful. Also the signs "do not occupy a site until you have paid!" Are not necessarily helpful and don't make any sense. The only way to pay is by recreation.gov as soon as you find a place that you want. So the best way to navigate is to drive around until you find a spot occupy it Hope you have a little cell phone signal and then book the spot. If you don't have any signal you have to drive back to the visitor center anyway. Overall great experience! good water filling station, convenient garbage cans and clean bathrooms. The area is noisy during the day because of constant traffic in and out of Mexico, but it does quiet down at night. Good star viewing and coyote music!
