Great place to watch the stars and the washrooms were in clean. The bachelor show was informative. The cement pads are a delight to camp on, so our dog can roam around without hurting his paws.

The NPS effectively manages the monument, with the campground hosts maintaining the facilities. Just a heads-up: we didn't discover the campground's electrical outlets at the top end (Northside) for charging our phones until day two. The park service advises keeping your vehicle's engine hood open during your stay at the campground to deter pack rats from climbing into the engine and gnawing on rubber and plastic parts (good to know). Overall, the trails are well-maintained, the campground is clean (including the bathrooms), and the visitor center provides valuable information on activities and sights.

Great spot in the desert. Some really interesting hikes and gorgeous desert sunrises and sunsets. Camp hosts and all the staff are great and they all do a very good job keeping the place nice, clean and a good vibe. A good place to chill and enjoy the desert.

I stayed at Twin Peaks Campground at the end of November from Thursday - Sunday. Going into the trip, I knew that there were bathrooms closed for the season. I picked a tent spot that was close(r) to an open bathroom. The bathroom had two toilet stalls and was open until Saturday evening when the park staff unexpectedly closed it. The only other bathroom that was open next to the tent spots was a one stall bathroom that also contained the shower. The park was pretty busy and there was often a wait to use the restroom once the two stall bathroom was closed. It was disappointing to other campers who also did not know they would be closing the two stall bathroom in the middle of a Saturday.
The park itself had amazing sunrise and sunset views. The landscape was gorgeous and the park is beautiful. There are plenty of drinkable water faucets close to all of the camping sites. The tent sites are spacious and allowed for us to set up a cabin tent and a 10x10' canopy tent over the picnic table. The parking spaces are large and allowed for us to have extra space to move around at our site.
I recommend taking a portable shower and toilet, if you have one. The weather was in the 40s at night and the walk to the bathroom was dark, cold, and windy. I wish we had brought a portable toilet to use during the night instead of walking to the bathroom, especially once they closed the closer bathroom to our site.

Beautiful Park in the Sonoran desert. Great place to hike but remember this park boarders Mexico and you are advised not to hike alone due to smuggling activity.
Park is a bit remote so plan ahead and bring what you need. It’s a long way to the store!

Nicely situated, surrounded by cacti, super calm, clean, warm showers, everything very well maintained. Frequent free ranger program in the evening while we were there in December. We enjoyed our time a lot. Great that there is a non generator area.

This is one of the cleanest, well-organized parks I've visited. The restrooms were very clean and well-maintained. The only drawback is that the water is solar heated. If you want to take a morning shower you can expect cold water, But by 4pm the water is warm enough to enjoy.
the park has NO hookups, so a good battery and self-contained electrical system is mandatory for best comfort.
One negative comment about the generator hours - why are the afternoon ours for generators from 3pm to 6pm? That seems ludicrous! Most people would prefer generator hours from 5pm to 8pm in order to get their batteries charged for the evening. Those earlier hours seem ridiculous for folks needing to charge up the batteries for the night!
