Great campground and Visitor Center. Enjoyed the backcountry trips. Ranger presentation was weak. He needed more knowledge about the local mining history in order to answer questions. Maybe he was new.

What a wonderful place! Great cactus, great hiking and wonderful NPS staff. The campgrounds are great!

Informative evening talks given by the rangers. Nice hikes in the green desert. As always, immaculately manicured and all services functional. I would visit again.

Fantastic location with lots of privacy. I was disappointed that the solar panel operated shower doesn't have hot water in the winter months. I came expected to have shower.

Spot 207 was a good spot. Little bit of a walk to the restroom but had a bit of privacy plus easy access to a water spigot. Clean and great areas for tents

We tent camped and had a great time. This is an excellent campground in a beautiful, somewhat remote park. Staff were pleasant. Sites were very clean and tidy upon arrival. Bathrooms very clean as well. Potable water was handy (no hose, but it fills a water jug quickly). We liked that there are non-generator sites; this kept it quiet. Lovely place! We will be back. The park (OPC national monument) has lots of nice easy walks, more rigorous hikes, and scenic driving tours. There are no shops or stores in the park, so stock up before you get here in the "Why Not" convenience center, or a grocery store in Ajo.

The campground was clean, the hosts were knowledgeable about local trails and super nice, and the access to trails from the campground were great. We appreciated the nightly ranger talks too. The campsites are nicely spaced apart. We look forward to returning. It’s such a beautiful area.

camp site was tent only. Tent pad was clearly outlined and level, BBQ grill on site was clean and ready for use. Had a nearby potable water spigot, and trash cans. Nice and quiet, trailheads within walking distance. Had beautiful sunsets every evening and a star lit night. Overall, a pleasurably stay. Will visit again.
