This is a lovely campground. Although there are a lot of campsites, they all feel private and uncrowded. Even the generator sites are quiet. The solar showers are also quite nice. There re quite a few hikes no bike rides in the park area. Everything is well done and relaxing. We meet with friends there each year. We love in the more northern areas of Arizona, so it is great to see a different area. Also lots of nice people, and very dog friendly. Ranger talks each evening are well worth attending.

A very special place. We extended our stay because we loved it there. Lots to do, hiking, driving tours, ranger talks. I will be back.

Campground is beautiful. The park is beautiful. The sites are large and well spread out. We very much enjoyed our time here, The only tiny complaint is that there was never any warm water in the showers even though advertised as solar hot water. A hot shower would have made this campground five stars. We would definitely come back, though, even with a cold shower!

Very clean and quiet for the most part. The usual barking dogs and bad owners that don’t do anything about them.Great hikes from the campground.

It was nice to see these unique cactus in the campground. If you tent camp, try and get a site with shade. Or bring a shade tent.

Beautiful and peaceful experience. Very well maintained camping area, excellent staff and volunteers. Go for the sunrise and sunsets, and the day hiking is great.
