This is a cramped campground. In an attempt to get away from all of the noise and Neighbors I took a tent spot, not realizing that I wasn’t able to sleep in my car. They forced me to move so I left.

Incredibly hot and I didn’t stay as long as I would’ve liked.

90+ degrees in March due to unprecedented heat wave and generators not allowed?!?! No toilet paper on ladies restroom (i brought my own) and when i informed the park attendant she rudely said that she was getting to that. The mist “shower” was adequate/okay, not what I would expect from a national park/monument, but i understand the need to save water in the desert. Beautiful sonoran desert scenery! ... Ranger led lecture was fun!

Normally we would give a 5 star rating. Great facilities and aluminum can recycling! The difference this year was a campground host with poor people skills. While returning from a hike, he asked us not to walk through empty sites in a rude manner.

Campground was clean and very well maintained. Rangers and volunteer staff made our stay very enjoyable.

The campground is very well kept and the zen raking work at each site is quite a delight to see when pulling in and walking around the site. They offered some really interesting educational programs I've not often seen offered at other campgrounds.
