Rangers at the Visitor Center were very helpful. Campground was clean and well-monitored by volunteers. Our tent site was fantastic! Showers were a bonus and the availability of evening programs was stellar!

Great campground with dump and water. Has solar showers which can be a little problematic depending on weather and prior usage. Has nice nature trails and other hiking trails. We used it going and returning from Puerto Penasoco, MX which was vary convenient.

Good well cared for facilities. Helpful volunteers. Cool showers, not quite warm, but it was 90 degrees.

The campground was beautiful, convenient, and very well maintained. Spaces were well apart. The campground was quiet. And the cactus was interesting and beautiful!

clean and well kept campground. Well organized, though the shower’s water was on the cool side.

Sites are small but there is good vegetation between sites that provides for some privacy. Solar showers are nice luxury when boondocking, although they didn't get very warm. We did see three people apprehended by CBP on two separate occasions but never felt unsafe.
Highly recommend the hour drive to Puerto Penasco. Whale watching trip for $50, we paid close to $200 for the same in Washington. Lots of good restaurants and inexpensive.
