Clean, from the site to the bathrooms. Peaceful, though you can hear 89A at times but was grounding not intrusive. Met a nice Skunk who came to visit me like 4 times in one night, he was just cruisin for a meal and I was not accommodating. Not a bother, it is life in nature, I did not bother him nor did he bother me. Very pleasant experience and I wish the season was open longer. I will return again.

This is now my 2nd home during the summer months. An easy drive up from the valley, nice paved roads in campground, clean bathrooms, water available with a bucket to put out your fire. The hosts are super friendly and always available. Beautiful pines with good sized camping sites .

Nice, clean and shady. Camp host was friendly and attentive. Our only complaint is how narrow the sites are. Your view out includes the full side of the neighbors RV. We enjoyed hiking and the seeing awesome views from the Woodchute Trail.

The campground was beautiful and very clean. We had a great visit and love the hiking easily accessible from the campground. The camp hosts were friendly and helpful. We were able to get a radio signal, so we could hear all of the emergency messages going out to the Grand Canyon during the flood warnings. There is no T-Mobile coverage at the campground. You have to go across the highway for reception. I purchased satellite and that worked for texting and maps, which was helpful.

Our second time at Potato Patch. We had a stormy weekend this time. Both sites were great, despite the weather. The restrooms clean, the host helpful. We will return to check out the different aspects of the sites.

This campground is kept clean. I have now visited several times and the bathrooms are always clean. I love the amount of shade in the place. Host Harry is just an added bonus. I just learned the hosts are volunteer, not paid. Amazing how helpful and knowledgeable they are about the area. So appreciate them knowing how they do this job for US CAMPERS.
