Nice little getaway from the city. The campsites are very crammed together, but everyone was respectful with noise and keeping to themselves. Our specific site have plenty of shade trees, however we didn't have any close enough together for hammocks. Several other sites did have the option. Two bathrooms, both within walking distance.
Hosts weren't very active, only saw them walking their dogs once and that was it. Didn't have any firewood for sale, had to drive into Prescott Valley (20 min drive).

This site was really a perfect match it had the right amount of shade and sun. Very close to the bathroom. There were even trails that we did not know about and were fairly easy to hike. The only true neighbors you would have is across the drive to A21. Nice breeze as well in the mountains. Host was extremely friendly.

Had a very relaxing time. Had to chase the shade, but there was always shade somewhere on the site.

Camp host was super nice and helpful. Sites were beautifully treed and spacious. Pit toilets were composting variety and very clean. No T-Mobile service, but was just a short drive down the graded fire road just outside the campground. Much prettier campground than Mingus just across the highway. However, Mingus has excellent cell reception for all providers. The only issue was noise. A large family a few sites away had children that preferred to scream instead of play, and they had their music loud enough so everyone in Loop A could hear it. Unfortunately the camp host could not hear it from her site near Loop B, or she said she would have told them to quiet down. She said we should have come told her, but nobody really wants to be put in the position to be the camp Karen. She did speak to them that morning and the music was better, but no attempt was made by the parents to stop the screaming children. Can’t really hold that against the campground, just our bad luck. Beautiful campground, but glad to be moving on under the circumstances.
