The campground is well run, clean, and quiet. Not an "in the woods" experience, but it's very laid back. Composting toilets are amazing! If you want a little more "woodsy" experience during the day, you can drive up to Mingus Mountain (about 2 mi across the road), or just go to the other "non-electric" unit behind the front "electric" unit where there are trails. Also, remember it is very close to Jerome for a fun day's outing with great shops and restaurants.
