Beautiful, small campground but with room between sites to feel the cool mountain breezes. Well kept, clean and quiet. Friendly Hosts, Ken and Dory, had answers to all our questions. We were there Sunday night to Wednesday morning. The only negative was the target practice going on across the main road on Tuesday. It lasted quite a long time and seemed very close. (Shooting in the area is prohibited) I do wish Hosts would have called the authorities. Next time...and there will be a next time. We already have our reservations for the end of the month!

Our trip was great! Bathrooms are clean, spots are laid out very nicely. Love how they have the raised fire pit. The camp host's were very nice.

This is a nice, clean campground and the camp hosts have always been great the several times we've camped there. It is, however, close to the highway so the noise from cars and motorcycles might bother some people. (More so for the campsites that are closer to that.) We are hikers and there are several trails in the area which is a plus for us.

We have gone up to the camp ground for about 25 year,to the old campground and now to the new one and we love it a it is only 20 miles from home. Sorry about having to make reservation now as we just go up there at the spur of the minute. The Huebners
