Campground hosts were very friendly and helpful. Campsite was perfect for our RV. The only problem was the campground was too close to State Route 89A making it very noisy due to the high volume of traffic traveling between Prescott Valley and Jerome/Cottonwood.

A small quiet campground, clean restrooms, pleasant campground hosts. Close to the historic town of Jerome.

I first visited the area in 1954 to play in the snow as a College student at ASC (now ASU). The campgrounds had not yet been established. I have since enjoyed the Mingus Campground (and watching the hang gliders jump off the rim above the Verde Valley). However, I much prefer "The Patch" where I have always camped with fellow Teardrop and tiny trailer friends. This latest trip was the first in several years and I greatly enjoyed getting back. Jerome is always a fun place to visit for special events like a VW rally or to dine in one of the many unique restaurants.

Beautiful, small campground but with room between sites to feel the cool mountain breezes. Well kept, clean and quiet. Friendly Hosts, Ken and Dory, had answers to all our questions. We were there Sunday night to Wednesday morning. The only negative was the target practice going on across the main road on Tuesday. It lasted quite a long time and seemed very close. (Shooting in the area is prohibited) I do wish Hosts would have called the authorities. Next time...and there will be a next time. We already have our reservations for the end of the month!
