We stayed in Loop A this time and loved the forest trees and our campsite. The camp host was nice, although there was a slight mix-up on the reservation card posted at the campsite. She resolved it quickly. Restrooms were clean and did not smell inside.

A gem of a campsite in The Mingus Mountains, Arizona near Jerome.
Peaceful lush green pines and fields surrounding the grounds.
Large spots if you are in site A.
Spotless bathrooms and property.
Friendly hosts.

Got there a little on the later side Saturday afternoon about 5 o’clock no rain yet late Friday night into Sunday morning. It was raining a little bit but still beautiful. Overall experience was great. Daughter loved it too.

Potato Patch is nicely paved, full of trees for shade and privacy. All the sites are beautiful and spaced out so you don’t hear your neighbors. Host Harry is helpful with any questions and keeps this place CLEAN. I love coming up from the valley to enjoy the peace and quiet AND the cool weather. See ya again soon.

We were is B7 a great drive through spot. Very little shade but the driveway was flat so easy for our pop up camper. Find it interesting that lately we never see the camp hosts. We used to be welcomed by them as they introduced themselves, miss this friendly gester. Camp spots are close together but we had great campers near by. We hiked to the A loop and most sites seem to have more shade. The only complaint was the smell from the bathroom never experienced the strong ammonia smell as we did the last day and a half. It was horrible burned eyes and lungs not sure if caused due to the high rains or if the composting fan quit. Would have been nice if host explained to us why. We really enjoy this campground and will be back as the bathroom smell has never been there before. Common courtesy to let campers know problems you are experiencing would have been great.

Great little campground tucked away in the woods at Mingus Mountain, Arizona. With a mix of developed as well as undeveloped (no electric) you have a nice variety of choices. Be sure, if you're able - to visit the nearby historic Arizona town of Jerome, just a few minutes away on highway 89A.

Had a terrific weekend. If you want a clean campground to completely get away from the city with absolutely no cell
Coverage (T-Mobile) make a trip to the Potato Patch.
