Great semi-secluded spot about 10 mi off Interstate 8. Spots are not on top of each other and the campground is quite spread out. Total silence and great stars. The petroglyphs are all on the small jumble of rocks that are fenced off but easy to view Some graffiti from a number of years ago.

More crowded than expected. Requirement to use rec.gov was both unexpected and unwelcome. Instead of putting $4 in an envelope, I had to download an app and figure out how to pay for my site. And the extra $1 goes to a private (defense) contractor, not the local BLM site. Completely unnecessary administrative costs!!

Always peaceful. Camp hosts very nice. Mother Nature made it a little too warm to hang around as much as we would have liked. :)
