2nd year here. Bring leveling blocks, sites are very uneven. Clean, quiet. One improvement would be the signs on the reserved sites, they are hard for people to understand. People looking for a site just drive right on by not realizing what FF means because the sign says "RESERVED"

I only stayed two nights but was able to do some hiking along the creek, some biking around the loop including the low bridge and high bridge, and watched two herons trying to start a family.
My Google maps tried to take me via the North entrance (North of the bridge) but that route is VERY bumpy, and fortunately my Garmin took me to the better South entrance.

Hostile camphost! Not helpful at all. Called the BLM field office and they were very accommodating and kind.

The campground was quiet and clean. We had the group site and except for the lights not working the rest of the site was in good shape. The camp hosts were very friendly and available if anything was needed.
