The Virgin River Canyon Recreation Area offers a beautiful and well-maintained campground with clean facilities and stunning views, making it a great stop for travelers. Many appreciate the easy access to the river and hiking trails, as well as the reasonable pricing. There are a lot first come first served sites that were available, but I did not want to chance not getting a site as I had driven extra distance and I was driving alone. Wish it was possible to reserve the FF sites after a certain time in the day

Nice campsite. Clean and well laid out. A little mousey. Would stay there again while traveling through area, but would bring ear plugs next time to mitigate highway noise.

Beautiful campground, clean and spacious, beautiful views. We took spot 28 and it was perfect. Really recommend this campground as a stop between death valley/Vegas and Zion

Campground was great. There is a disconnect between Rec.gov. And the actual postings on site the website marks any campsites FF but the actual signs say reservation required

Place is clean and well kept. There is no cell service so if a reservable spot is wanted it is better to book in advance

Beautiful place to stay for a quick overnight. The site was clean and had a table, fire pit, and bbq. Site 38 had plenty of room for our F250 and 22ft trailer.

A very nice campground. Good facilities, paved roads, well maintained, clean bathrooms, water available, shaded areas, beautiful surroundings. Very impressive place, an oasis in the middle of nowhere!

Very clean campground and restrooms. Disappointed that the tent pad had pretty large divots in the middle of the pad, pretty much rendering the pad unusable. Was also a bit surprised to hear traffic noise from the highway, as it seemed that the campground was a bit further off the main highway (it wasn’t). Given that my reservation was during a shoulder season, it surprised me that the campground emptied out completely during the day, and as a solo camper, I decided to forfeit my reservation for the second night, as it would have been creepy to be alone in the campground.
Would like to try this campground again, maybe during a slightly busier time of year.
