What Guests Are Saying

The Virgin River Canyon Recreation Area offers a beautiful and well-maintained campground with clean facilities and stunning views, making it a great stop for travelers. Many appreciate the easy access to the river and hiking trails, as well as the reasonable pricing. However, some issues were noted, including outdated signage, limited water access for RVs, and occasional noise from the highway. Overall, it provides a peaceful, scenic experience, especially in cooler seasons.

Site 28 Upper loop had great views but our 36ft 5th wheel and truck barely fit. A great campground in a beautiful area.

I always love this campground. While I hear the noise of those who hit the rumble strip on the highway, it's not obnoxious, but soothing. It was great because it wasn't full, so not noisy at all. Clean restrooms.

Nice campgrounds with easy access to sites and nice access to trails. The scenery is beautiful. Noise from nearby I-15 is a little distracting but not bad. Some of the sites do tend to flood a little bit during downpours...as we experienced.

We prefer staying at this campground when visiting St. George area. The recent renovations to the grounds and campsites were a great improvement.

What a wonderful place to spend the night. Easy access to/from I-15, with little road noise at night. Bathrooms were very clean, which is a bonus.

We chose the campground for a one night stay enroute to Death Valley. The campground was not crowded, the restrooms were clean and stocked, and it was perfect for our purposes. We had easy access to the river, which our dog really enjoyed.
