This campsite is awesome! The shade and table are really helpful as we didn’t have to worry about packing any chairs.
I recommend not going during June for the heat, but the bathrooms had AC which was very helpful. Such a beautiful campground. The views of the cliffs and the trail down to the river were picturesque. We were basically the only campers in the whole place so the desert was a bit eerie, but it’s nice being so close to the highway! Would come back again—maybe in the fall!

A quick stop off I-15 in Arizona. This campground was fairly vacant, but we had two others in our loop the night we stayed. I made a reservation online beforehand, but could have saved the $8 fee had I just risked the first-come first-served. We couldn't find a place to fill water, but we did a makeshift bottle fill from the bathroom sink. No water spigots were indicated on the campground map, thank goodness we were mostly prepared.

A beautiful campground tucked against the red hills and away from I15. Inexpensive and wonderful experience.

We will definitely be back! Our reservation process was easy. Our site was very level, we didn't even unhook our trailer for our 2 night stay. We enjoyed the hiking trails and even waded in the river, our dogs were ecstatic getting to play in the river! The bathrooms were very clean. We met Chris the Ranger and had a very nice visit with him, super nice guy and very knowledgeable about so many things!

Good spaces between campsites. Facilities available are in good shape. Needs more signage, especially for exits, finding individual sites.. Ranger visible often during week. .

Been to this campground many times. It's beautiful and a quick getaway from Las Vegas. Only complaint about this site is the amount of foot traffic since it's right next to the bathroom.

It made no sense to me that you must use the app to pay for a site but there is no cell service at the kiosk. So instead i had to drive to service and then pay an $8 fee for a $4 campsite on rec.gov.
The campground was clean and spaces were adequate. Nice views of the river and the surrounding mountains. There is highway noise but there is so much more on which to focus.
