What Guests Are Saying
The Virgin River Canyon Recreation Area offers a beautiful and well-maintained campground with clean facilities and stunning views, making it a great stop for travelers. Many appreciate the easy access to the river and hiking trails, as well as the reasonable pricing. However, some issues were noted, including outdated signage, limited water access for RVs, and occasional noise from the highway. Overall, it provides a peaceful, scenic experience, especially in cooler seasons.

Camp sites are narrow and none are level.
Worse, no potable water supply.
Bathrooms had water but the spigots were all turned off throughout the campground and at resrooms.

We like the location, and stay there during our Annual Snowbird migration to Mexico. Sites are nice bathrooms kept clean. With the new reservation system it becomes confusing because the information is not clearn at the entrance, but only at the bathrooms. Scan and pay doesn’t work well cuz of lack of cel service. We saw people just give up and leave if they did not already have a reservation.

Clean campground; beautiful area. Far enough from freeway to be quiet at night.
