What Guests Are Saying
Rose Canyon Campground in the scenic "Red Rocks" of Southern Utah is a well-maintained and beautiful location, ideal for camping near Bryce Canyon NP. Campers praise the cleanliness, friendly staff, and great fishing opportunities, with many highlighting the spacious, private sites and enjoyable hiking trails. While some minor issues like road conditions and a few camp host interactions were noted, the overall experience is positive, making it a recommended spot for both relaxation and outdoor activities.

The site was clean and the staff was super friendly. We took 5 kids with us and they had a blast roaming the hill behind our campsite. They also had fun scrambling up some of the boulders in the area.
Just a heads up that most of the tent camping sites are separate from where you park your car (ours was up a hill). However, we will definitely be adding this site to our “return camping” list.

Excellent sites, great interactions with the various site workers, convenient bear safe food storage cabinets and fire pits, grills, and tables. Amazing views in the area too. Can't wait to go back :) Just a heads up, when picking sites, some have very far parking from where you set up and can be difficult for certain parties. I changed from site 11 to site 19 for this reason, but they were really accommodating about this. Also, hiking into fish can be a chore as the parking to the lake is a bit of a trek, especially with gear and chairs in tow-bring a wagon for supplies.

We used the Lizard Rock site to get married. It was beautiful, the facilities were clean, we were checked on, and it was all around perfect!
