This is a great spot because unlike others it is actually monitored. At Spencer canyon they forget you are there after sundown and it shows when there are issues with large parties. Here there are always large parties but they are checked by the host and rules are enforced so it is much more pleasant for all. Don’t come here if you want to have a free for all. Do come here if you are good with the rules and love a quiet and well equipped campground.

Love the campground. Great amount of space and wonderful for large groups with kids. The camp host was wonderfully helpful and friendly. Loved the Ramada with electrical since there were no fires this but a power helped for cooking food and having a theater night for the kiddos. Can’t wait to book it again next year!

Whitetail is great! The hosts are the best, attentive, helpful, and yet also leave you to your camping. The site was clean and ready. What a great escape from the heat in the summertime. Thank you!

We had a fantastic camping experience at Whitetail Campground! The site was well maintained everything was clean, peaceful, plenty of space, and just what you want when you're looking to disconnect and enjoy nature. The bathrooms were clean. The host was very attentive and helpful throughout our visit. It felt like he genuinely cared about everyone having a good experience. Highly recommend!

The campground was great, but Roger the property ranger was not. I had my wedding reception there. According to my guests, Roger pulled up in his little red truck and make inappropriate remarks. On the day of my wedding there were an unexpected amount of cars, so he instructed my guest to park on the main road. Later, he asked me for $178 cash or check to have my guest park on lot number five. In the middle of picture taking, Roger was leaning against the tree asking me to get paid. Multiple witnesses saw when I paid him $178. I did not get a receipt. The area was beautiful, but unfortunately, the staff was rude and condescending.

We had a great time in this campsite! Site was clean and well maintained. It was nice to have the large ramada for our group to hang out and cook in. One thing to note - even though this is a site for 40 people, there are only 5 tent pads. A couple of them can handle two family tents, but a couple of them are pretty small.

Wonderful campsite & amazing weather. Campers at other site were a little load and went past the "quiet time". Spoke to the camp attendant and situation was resolved.
