Great site for kids, with lots to explore nearby. The men's restroom was closed at our site, which was inconvenient since we had to double up on one potty. The tent pad are very nice, flat and easy to stake into. Overall, a great site. We've already planned our group's next visit!

Please wash down the site.
Flies happen in nature - but they were especially bad as there was spilled food all over the picnic area. Perhaps a hose and some water would help.
Need some instructions on how to open those bear proof trash containers! Bears can't read but us humans can - and 8 of us never did get one open. Carried our trash out - which is more than I can say for others that used the space.

For the price paid I would expect the area to be cleaned up better. The bathrooms also smelled. The site is a great campground but I would limit the length of trailers to 22 ft. We had 3 trailers under 22 ft and parking was very tight. If you made the turn into the camp site a little wider it would work better. We were in site 3 at Whitetail on Mt Lemmon.

The site itself was quite acceptable, and the camp hosts amenable. It is unfortunate that is is so close to other sites, since some groups are significantly louder than others. Sound carries well in the forest, and I was privy to details of strangers' lives that I did not need or care to know. Also, children scream a lot; I guess that 's just what they do.
Hard to enjoy the peace and sounds of nature sometimes. Other than that I have no comments.

It is a wonderful campground with so much space for groups. Our only suggestion is that space should be made for RVs. The campground is really designed for tent camping. The tent sights are wonderful. We squeezed three RVs into the parking area, but that's all that could fit. Very clean and well cared for.

We brought a group of 20 total youth and adults to this camp site for 3 nights. It is a wonderful campground for large groups. There is plenty of open forest space surrounding it making it feel very private. There are great tent pads that are flat and graveled, so when rain comes, there is no muddy mess to deal with. The huge covered ramada provides plenty of space for meals, crafts, and gathering together. Water spicket is handy. The set up for food preparation is perfect, along with sturdy, metal bear boxes conveniently right there. The bathrooms are sufficient--just lack a sink, so be sure to have a large cooler with water specifically for hand washing. The hikes are beautfiul, and the kids had lots of fun playing around the lake, catching crawdads. Definitely recommend this campground for groups and family reunions!

The weather is so nice right now. Just perfect for the evening camp fires. But warm enough for t shirts. The care takers are friendly and helpful:)
