What Guests Are Saying
Rose Canyon Campground in the scenic "Red Rocks" of Southern Utah is a well-maintained and beautiful location, ideal for camping near Bryce Canyon NP. Campers praise the cleanliness, friendly staff, and great fishing opportunities, with many highlighting the spacious, private sites and enjoyable hiking trails. While some minor issues like road conditions and a few camp host interactions were noted, the overall experience is positive, making it a recommended spot for both relaxation and outdoor activities.

The area offers a nice respite from the summer heat of the Tucson area. My campsite, although near the bathroom offered no privacy from the neighbor camper. The parking spot was barely large enough for my Subaru. I would not select this campsite again, should I return.

Clean campsite, friendly hosts and a very friendly fishing community! Lots of free advice for new anglers. Great experience.

We have been reserving the same spot every year, and enjoying the simplicity camping has to offer. We did have a visitor several times during our stay, which we could have done without. A skunk kept appearing in the evenings, which made us a little uneasy, but all in all it was a very pleasant experience.

Site #25 is a lovely spacious space. It was perfect for our camping set up. We put the tent near the parking space (rather tha up the hill near the table.) We had plenty of room to use the camp kitchen in the back of the van. There is plenty of room for a second tent or shade structure up the hill where the park table, fire ring and bear box are. Site #26 is nearby -- making it easy for families and friends to camp together. Be sure to use the bear box. We saw a skunk, a chipmunk and a squirrel sneaking around. Beautiful view.

We were the only campers out of the 5 campsites, but it was a week night. Campsite 2 is private and has great spots for hammocks. It is quite an incline up to the campsite, which is a bit of a workout. Great overall experience and beautiful views!

WAY too long of a drive straight uphill. Scenery was very good but sites too close to each other and lake unusable so not worth it to me.
