We are grateful to the people who had the cabin prior to our visit; they left it very clean. Everything is well stocked and in good working order. They road is better than in years past. We did not see any mice this time, but we bring sealed plastic containers to store all of our dry goods; that way the mice are not lured into the kitchen. We only stayed one night but wish we could have stayed longer. We saw turkey, hummingbirds, a myriad of Mexican Jays. We always enjoy our time at Kent Springs.

Learn to use Satellite on your cellphone for text messaging. Really helpful when trying to communicate with my kids.

The Kent Springs Cabin is large enough to sleep 8-10. Our family of 5 had a wonderful time! Plenty of hot water, heat, well-stocked kitchen. The porch is a highlight because it overlooks the creek. The kids played in the creek and along the banks. The living room/kitchen/dining area is spacious and well-lit. We loved the way the original builders incorporated the large rocks into the building itself, both interior and exterior. We'll be back!

A nice patch of open sky to set up a telescope and stargaze. Very dark sky . We had a nice time with Southern Arizona Hiking Club friends at the end of September.
