Beautiful campground in the valley full of trees. Clean, bear boxes, fire ringss, pit toilets and concrete picnic tables…plus water! All a bike packer needs!

As soon as we arrived there were two separate groups squatting in our site due to poor signage. We had to convince them to pack up and move. Nonexistent site manager, no toilet paper, and trash bins were overflowing. They obviously dont care about this group site. We will not be returning here again.

From Tucson, drive north on Oracle Road (U.S. Highway 89). Continue for 27 mi to State Highway 77. Turn right (east) and drive 10 mi to the town of Oracle. Take the first Oracle exit and travel 4 mi through the town to Forest Road 38. Follow 38 to...
From Tucson, drive north on Oracle Road (U.S. Highway 89). Continue for 27 mi to State Highway 77. Turn right (east) and drive 10 mi to the town of Oracle. Take the first Oracle exit and travel 4 mi through the town to Forest Road 38. Follow 38 to Peppersauce Canyon.
Please note: the speed limit is 5 mph inside the campground and 35 mph outside the campground on Forest Road 38.

Peppersauce campground is accessible via U.S. Highway 89 and State Highway 77. U.S. Highway 89 is located approximately 27 miles south, while State Highway 77 is about 10 miles east from the town of Oracle.
