Such a great place. Took our oldest daughter (5 years old) on her first camping trip up here. Very well kept and such nice people around. Lots of things to see and go do all in close range. And major stores in Payson are only about 30 minutes away. Perfect spot.

Great campsite. Tall tree cover and situated tucked back from the road. Clean bathrooms and upkeep of grounds. Potable water at entrance. Dumpsters free to paid campers. Fire ring and picnic table available at each site. Bring firewood in. Great experience! I'll be back.

Great location, on the smaller side which was great. Host is very friendly and helpful. Location is a bit close to the road so be mindful of that if that’s something that could bother you. Traffic wasn’t that bad in my opinion but something to note. Will come back again!

We love this campground! The spacing between the camp sites is great. Has the feel of dispersed camping but within a campground with a vault toilet.
No amenities but purely great viewing of the stars with only our campfire for light and the forest feel is wonderful. Loved laying in my hammock with my book and a pillow. Only stayed for two nights but it was a nice recharge for the week ahead.
It is our second year of coming here and we look forward to next year. We are tenters so it got a little too cold for me at night in mid September but just means more blankets next time, because the daytime temps are perfect!

The host was great, the bathrooms were clean, site was well maintained with plenty of shade. Mountain water available for drinking and dumpsters for use. This is our 4th time here and we will be back!

Small campsite with decent sized spots. Water available from the entrance by the host area. Bathrooms were pit toilets but good to have. The main drawback was not the camp's fault, but it definitely was a negative. Close to the road where off-road vehicles joy ride back and forth, rudely kicking up dust and causing noise in an otherwise pristine setting.

The site was clean, fairly well spaced out from the neighbors, the host was super friendly, and the bathrooms were the cleanest and best smelling I have ever encountered at a campsite!
