Sinkhole Campground

This is a beautiful, well-maintained campground. The bathrooms are clean, and the camp host is friendly and accommodating. Most of the sites are large, with plenty of room for gathering around your campfire and a large picnic table. This was our second trip to Sinkhole and both times it rained almost every day, so be prepared for that when you come during Monsoon. Due to the trees in the site, we did have trouble with our solar not keeping up and had to top it off with our generator. Starlink works well, but cell service is sporadic at best.

Small campground with great hosts and clean bathrooms.

Other than continuous, screaming kids and barking dogs left unattended the campground was just wonderful. The camp hosts are great people and go out of their way to make sure everything is just right.
Clean bathrooms and a lot of good clean water and two dumpsters to put your trash into.
Respect the grounds so others can enjoy it in the future.
If your kids are screaming make them shut up. Don’t leave your dog unattended
If you know he or she has separation anxiety.

Fantastic campsite. We love how close it is to the lake. Super clean and beautiful wooded lots with tall pines. Noise from road traffic is minimal and worth the trade-off for proximity/price. We also love that we get to have camp fires and that they have a water refill tank, trash, dump, and wood for sale on site.

Great place clean and quiet

Had our Scout Troop there for the weekend. Very nice, clean campground. Friendly Camp hosts.
