The restroom was filthy and never cleaned during the three nights we stayed there. The traffic noise was bad at night, and the garbage truck banged dumpsters at 5:30 a.m.! There are many areas that are low and wet, but the driveways are large and you can put your picnic table up on the pavement to stay out of the wet spots. It's nice to be close to Willow Springs Lake.

Third time staying here. I really like this place. It is close to the highway, so you can hear that traffic and see the headlights thru the trees, its that close. There are walking/hiking trails and its not too far from the lake, we always drive to the lake, don't wanna carry all that fishing gear that far. I don't think you can have open camp fire yet, so we took a gas grill and a cast iron pan and did all our cooking on that, no issues. Feels pretty safe, as there are neighbor campers no far apart from you. There are a couple restrooms in the camp area, they are no CLEAN, but good enough since your camping. There was potable water at the camp host site and trash dumpsters, The camp sites have picnic tables, and lots of chipmunks. Not a bad place and we will continue to return when we can. Thumbs Up.

The location is very good. we have kayaks so we paddle willow springs lake one half mile down the road. the camp host Sharon is wonderful and on this occasion came out late to assist with a nearby generator bozo. the negative to this near perfect camp is the road noise from 260 which s a half mile. the major road construction at this time didn’t help including the down shifting large trucks. normally the noise would not be so bad, but be warned you will see a steady stream of cars through the trees and hear the distant cars. the proximity to the lake outweighs the road distraction for us.

Nice large sites, bathrooms clean, lake only 1 mile away.

Sites a little close to each other road noise from the 260.

Beautiful campground in the high country.
Camp host Sharon is the best! Always ready to work and help in any way she can. Thank you Cowgirl!
We went in early June and there is a lot of road construction taking place outside the campground. This made it noisy and somewhat difficult to enter/leave due to the endless wait to follow the pilot car. I wouldn't let it put you off. Just be aware and plan to stay on site as much as possible.
