What Guests Are Saying
Mogollon Campground receives high praise for its friendly and attentive hosts, well-maintained facilities, and convenient location near scenic trails and Woods Canyon Lake. Campers appreciate the clean bathrooms, spacious sites, and the peaceful atmosphere, especially during the week. Some minor concerns include rocky ground making tent setup challenging and occasional noise from nearby roads and other campers, but overall, visitors express a strong desire to return.

Care taker was great. It would be nice to put some gravel around picnic tables as itβs so dusty especially when the wind blows.

I had a great experience. My site was close to the bathroom, water ,trail and waste receptacles. I appreciated Sherry driving around and checking to see if anyone needed anything. I was camping solo. It was comforting to know someone would check on me. Later in the evening she even checked to see how my hike went. I would definitely rebook this campsite.

We had such a great time. The hosts were awesome. The only "negative" thing about the camp site is that there are a lot or rocks on the ground. I used a 10 person tent and was unable to drive in several stakes into the ground. We had to use rope around the trees nearby.

This is a convenient campground with great hosts. The paved Rim Trail starts there and it's a 10 minute walk to awesome views. (The Rim Trail extends 4 miles east along the Mogollon Rim.) Road 300 is now paved and a tad busy on weekends. But, during the week in August, it's very peaceful. It's close to Woods Hollow Lake for paddling, boating and fishing.
