I was disa ppointed the showers were closed so early in the season, it was not for freeze concerns. Way too early for that. Price was the same, but the amenities were not. Should pbe a price reduction if no showers.

Nice somewhat excluded feel to the site we had. Bad part was the large family that was playing music unbelievably loud like it was a night club until around 12:30am when we had to call the police. That shut the music off but the hooting and hollering continued until around 2am. Kept most of the campgrounds up all night. We were too tired in the morning to explore. Saw that the same family was staying another night and we packed it up a day early as we could handle another night of no sleep. Not a peep from the on-site host. Won't be back.

Beautiful campground right outside Payson. Stores and restaurants close by. Traffic noise is quite noticeable but not a big issue for us.

Camp site was very clean, trash and water locations were conveniently located, and neighbors were respectful.

Camp host, David, was great. Camp clean, restroom ran out of TP, and water spigot could not use hose.

We arrived on Friday afternoon, and departed on Sunday late morning. The restrooms were not cleaned or re-stocked the entire weekend.

The campground is ok. Very close to the road so not very quiet. Very nice clean bathrooms.

It was great for the first camping. The Bathroom was nicer than what the review said. If you use it clean, it will be clean—quiet and peaceful stay.
There are wasp nests here and there, like in a tree stump. Be careful.

excellent campsite. we (4 famililes) reserved Mountain lion site 1-2. site 1 can fit 3 camps, site-2 is bit small, but 2 camps can be squeezed-in. we wanted to stay closed to each other, so site-1/2 are very good. but it may feel bit too close for separate parties.
both the sites were clean, restrooms were pretty good.
daytime weather was awesome. we under-estimated the night temp (54F).
these two became our fav sites (feedback from wives/kids)
